Unfortunately, today we didn't manage to go to Gilmerton because  there was a raging fire in dunbar from landfill which meant we unfortunately could not go to gilmerton  because of the smells in the air

But, Di kindly agreed to come to school instead. 

When di came she told us about four different tomato kinds including tigerella cherry and a huge one she or us didn't know the name of. We looked at the inside of a tomato, and saw the seeds. If we dry them carefully we can plant them to use again next year. We talked about growing our own vegetables back at school. Lots of us already grow loads of fuit and veg in our gardens, so may be we can get peoepl to do this more so we don't have so many food miles from our food.
