Tech Integration District Website
What I Did ✅:
During my masters program at Kutztown University I gave been lucky enough to work beside some already very established and knowledgeable tech coaches. Dylan Peters, Heather Moser and Brian Scholl are the East Penn School District tech integration specialists that I have collaborated with on a few projects and have certainly bounced many ideas off of. As a rising tech coach myself I have found the tech website a great resource not only for myself but as a resource for colleagues when I am not sure of an answer. It is important to inform and use content that is created and relevant to what we do and use each day at the elementary level.
What I Learned 🧠:
The tech coaches at our district have worked very hard on developing a comprehensive resource page for all staff and families and I have learned that it is very under utilized. It takes a trusting relationship to help support others and amplify both teacher and student learning. I can do my part by helping to build that trust and relationships to lead others to great resources as well as support the district tech coaches with new ideas and resources that I have gained. Collaboration at its best with when everyone has open communication and trust.
How I Will Grow 🌱:
I look forward to working more closely with the tech coaches and helping them adjust the tech page in the future. I have already begun to consult with them on ideas to improve some of the tutorials so that more teachers can learn from home and at their own pace. I will be able to use this resource in the future myself and will be encouraging other teachers and parents to visit the comprehensive website of resources as well.
