Getting Paints & Cleaning Up

When getting your paints if you don't follow the steps in the video you could very easily wind up with paint all over yourself and your clothing. Make sure to follow the steps in the video to make sure this doesn't happen, as well as know what is expected of you at cleanup time.

Value, Tints & Shades

Watch the YouTube video (click on picture) or Google Drive video (click on title) and follow the instructions closely. You'll need to get a printout of the "Value, Tints & ShadesChart" as well as have the specified colors of paint, a paint tray, paper towel, water cup, and small brushes.

Value is defined as light and dark: The graduation of light and dark on the surface of objects. Tints are hues that have white added to them, and Shades are hues that have black added to them.
