Abstract vs Cartoon Examples: This folder has images of abstract animals and cartoon animals. Many times students will confuse the two. Though cartoons could fall under the definition of abstract, there is a difference between the two. This assignment is for you to create an abstract animal, not a cartoon. Look at the examples in the folder and see if you can tell which ones are cartoons and which ones are abstract. Mr. Stav will go over these in class.

Note: Video 2 on "Mass" shows using wadded up newspaper to add the mass. If you have access to aluminum foil, I strongly recommend bringing some in to use instead of the newspaper. Newspaper will work, but the aluminum foil is a far superior material to use.
