How many classes are in this pathway?
There are two classes in the Entertainment and Media Pathway. Digital Photography must be taken first and then Graphic design as the capstone course.
Are the classes in the entertainment and Media pathway A-G approved?
Yes! These classes meet the requirements of university admissions.
Do these classes require special scheduling, such as coming before or after school, or additional paperwork?
No! The classes in this pathway will be embedded directly into your regular high school bell schedule. No extra fuss!
Will I receive college credits for taking these classes?
Unfortunately, these classes do not offer dual enrollment credits for colleges.
What do I get from finishing this pathway?
You will receive a certificate of completion when you pass both classes within the pathway. This certificate acts as an incredible portfolio booster for your resume. It validates that you spent two academic years gathering industry-sector work experience and know-how!
What is an industry sector?
An industry sector is the work-related field the pathway works within. For example, the industry sector the DHS Art CTE pathway studies is Media and Entertainment.
