For this project you are going use techniques you learned in previous lessons to morph faces on fruit in a bowl. It's always best to take your own pics whenever possible, but if that's not possible or convenient you can find an image on the Internet, or use one of the images that is linked to the thumbnails below.
The list below specifies what is required for your project.
IMAGE SIZE & RESOLUTION: Your image will need to be 8"X10" with a resolution of 150 dpi. It can either be either horizontal or vertical, whichever makes the most sense for the image of the bowl of fruit you use and the layout of the text.
THEME: You will then need to get a series of face pictures that relates to a particular group or them. Look at the examples below. One is of me, the other is of a TV show called "The Office", and the other is of my favorite sports team, the Forty-Niners. Notice how the plate of fruit I used for the Forty-Niners is red. That's because it is one of their main colors. I chose this plate so that it would relate with the theme of that particular sports team. If you happen to choose a sports team who's main color is blue, you might search for an image of a plate of blueberries.
TEXT: Your project must include text that goes along with the theme of your project. Look at the examples below as a guide for how you might set yours up. The text MUST BE PART OF A CLIPPING MASK where an image/s relating to your theme are placed within the boundaries of your text. If the text is skinny you can place the image in a rectangle that surrounds the text. Look at "The Office" example below. Your text must also include some Layer Effects (also known as a Layer Style), such as a stroke, drop shadow, bevel & emboss, etc.. If you forget any of these steps you can review how to do them by watching the "Metal" texture video at about 16:25.
QUALITY: When determining the quality of this project you should ask yourself the following questions. How good of a job did I do? Do the faces blend well into the fruit? Is there a lot of residue around the faces (areas of pixels that shouldn't be there)? Are selections (such as the bowl of fruit) smooth and natural, or are they jagged & awkward looking?
