Skins

You've seen it on TV, now you get to try it in real life, probably with a little less financial gain. All you have to do is win a hole at the right time and "you're in the money." There are a number of ways to play skins including the TV version with increasing values for holes, carry overs where the pot builds to the end, handicapped or just plain skins, no carries.

A new variety of Skins has been added for 2011 called "Handicapped or Scratch". You get to choose which skins game you want to play in and the amount of money available is divided between the number of players in each game. So if you don't want to play that 36 handicap who just got a hole in one on a par 3 with their 2 stroke handicap then play in the Scratch Skins. But if you've got an HGA handicap that might might find beneficial, play the Handicap Skin Version. You choose!

Be sure to play out and score each hole under the local rules, even if you're not in the skin, for future handicap purposes and other games being played at the same time.
