Chase graduated from Delphi in the class of 2023.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and Stephanie Long, and has a brother Jaden. He was coached by his father Ryan Long. 

Chase defensively provided strong leadership from behind the plate and in the outfield. At graduation the Queens University of Charlotte commit became the 3rd Oracle to reach the D1 NCAA level powered by his dominance as a hitter.

Among the many honors Chase collected: 3 time all-state selection in 2021, 2022, and 2023, 3 time all-conference selection, 3 time all-area selection, a participant in the 2023 N/S All-star game, a participant in the 2022 Futures game, and the 2023 IHSBCA District Player of the Year

Chase's baseball teams won a Sectional every year of his high school career, as well as 2 Regionals, and finished in the final four twice in both 2021 and 2023. Chase also competed in tennis as a Delphi athlete.

He attended Queens University of Charlotte for business and to play baseball.
