Rosangela Artuso, MS, PhD

Dr. Rosangela Artuso graduated with honor in Biological Sciences at the University of Siena in 2005. She obtained PhD and a specialist degree in Medical Genetics at University of Siena respectively in 2009 and 2015. Since 2012 she works as molecular biologist at Medical Genetics Unit of Meyer Children’s Hospital in Florence. She is involved in massive parallel sequencing approaches, in particular WES analysis, in order to identify the genetic background of patients with different conditions: neurological, endocrinological, renal and complex phenotype.




Elena Andreucci, MS

Dr. Elena Andreucci is a clinical geneticist who works as a consultant at the Meyer Children’s Hospital in Florence. After her degree in Medicine, and her residency in Medical Genetics, she obtained a PhD in Endocrinologic, Biomolecular and Rigenerative Biotechnologies and worked for a year as a consultant at the Royal Chidren’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Her activity focuses on prenatal diagnosis, dismorphology, molecular basis of rare diseases and she has a special interest in bone dysplasias.
