Dr. Massimo A. Di Pietro is Deputy Director at the infectious diseases hospital of Careggi since 1987 and since 1994 at the infectious diseases of the S. Maria Annunziata Hospital (Antella, FI). Since 2017 Director of SOC Infectious Diseases 2 AUTC Hospitals of Pistoia and Prato. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1982 at UniFI; he got his specialization in Infectious Diseases in 1986 at University of Florence. In addition to the normal assistance he participated (as a co-investigator principal) to over 80 pharmacological and observational clinical trials Member of the panel for the drafting of the Italian Guidelines for the HIV / AIDS treatment, member of the Vaccines Commission of the Tuscany Region, member of the MINSAN working group for the application of the AIDS Plan 2018-20.
