Il prof. Falcone serve as Assistant Professor in Infectious Diseases at Faculty of Medicine of The university of Pisa. He has participated as principal investigator in national and international clinical studies on anti-infective agents, and has published several studies on endocarditis, bacteremia, pneumonia, bone and joint infections and other areas of interest of Infectious Diseases. He is author of original articles published on leading journals of infectious diseases and clinical medicine including Annals of Internal Medicine, Clinical Infectious Diseases, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, American Journal of Medicine and many others. He has been invited as speaker in several National and International conferences and congresses.
