Dr. Carmelo Piscopo graduated in Medicine and surgery in 2005; then he worked as an assistant in specialist training in the A.F. Medical Genetics of the University of Naples directed by prof. Iolascon. He then obtained the specialization in Medical Genetics in 2011. In 2014 he was awarded a PhD in Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology at the Federico II University of Naples. He is currently medical director of Medical Genetics and Rare Diseases certifier at the Medical and Laboratory Genetics UOC at the Cardarelli hospital in Naples.
