Prof. Marinangeli is director of the Anesthesia, Intensive Care, Pain Therapy and Palliative Care Unit from 1 October 2016 and is responsible for the Palliative Care and Pain Therapy Company Network ASL 01 Avezzano-SulmonaL'Aquila. On 1 November 2013 he was appointed Associate Professor for the scientific-disciplinary sector MED / 41 - Anesthesiology, at the University of L'Aquila. On 1 January 2014 he was appointed "Scientific Director" of the "SimuLearn®" AAROI-EMAC Professional Training and Refresher Center. The University of L'Aquila has assigned him the top management functions for the management of the Anesthesia and Resuscitation Unit of the P.O. dell’Aquila for the 2018/2019 academic year. In January 2019 he was appointed national contact person for the ACD (Pain Cultural Area) of S.I.A.A.R.T.I. (Italian Society of Anesthesia, Analgesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care).
