A few "rules of Thumb" to Consider

The fewer clicks and scrolls the students have to make, the better.

Consider keeping the most relevant materials on the main page and "archiving" older materials into folders to minimize clutter but keep materials available for reference.

Keep your schedule or hyperdoc at the top of your Schoology course page.

This is helpful for your students and for other stakeholders supporting those students. You can drag the hyperdoc to the top of the materials page or add it to an update which can be pinned as an announcement to the top of the page. The more consistent we can all be with this, the easier it will be more everyone to find what they need.

Have consistent naming conventions for all of your materials.

Before you post materials on your hyperdoc and to your Schoology page, make sure that the materials are clearly and consistently named to avoid stakeholder confusion.
