Idea 1: Create Flipped Lessons

Embed formative questions within your flipped lesson using EdPuzzle or Playposit.
Have students take individual or collaborative notes during the video lesson using Videonot.es.
Idea 2: Create Learning Pathways
Create a hyperdoc (Unit Sheet) with links to learning activities.
Create a hyperimage with links to learning activities.
Use Symbaloo Learning Pathways to organize learning activities.
Organize learning activities in Schoology and use the student completion option to direct progress. (Learning Resources)
Idea 3: Check for Student Understanding
Create and assign a formative quiz using Schoology.
Have students respond to a prompt or each other in Flipgrid. (Learning Resources)
Link a Google form (with email notifications) to Schoology to allow students to ask questions. (Learning Resources - Coming Soon!)
Idea 4: Track Student Progress
Observe and comment as students complete work in a Google Drive assignment or Class Kick.
Have students complete a reflection during various points of the unit using a Google Doc.
Use a project management site (like MeisterTask) to track group goals, communication, and progress during longer projects.
Idea 5: Engage Students in a Discussion
Set up a Schoology discussion for students to pose questions, respond to prompts, or share & review student work.
Have students respond to a prompt or each other in Flipgrid.
Encourage students to use chat or video chat options such as Google Hangouts when completing group work in different locations.
Idea 6: Encourage Students to Study
Create (or have students create) study sets using Quizlet to practice key vocabulary.
Set up a review game in Quizizz or GimKit to highlight key concepts and provide practice questions.
Create and assign practice assessments in Schoology to provide students exposure to questions types.
Recommend Khan Academy or other tutorials for students to study from.
Idea 7: Be Prepared for a Digital Workflow
Use Standard, Google Drive and Kami assignments in Schoology to reduce the need for paper. (Learning Resources)
Set up assignments in Class Kick to allow students to complete work digitally.
Have students create shared Google folders for group projects.
Create and link Google Forms (with email notification) for students to request regrading or review of late work. (Learning Resources - Coming Soon!)
Take advantage of the Schoology and Mastery Manager online assessment options.
Idea 8: Be Creative with Demonstrating Learning
Break down the verbs in the transfer goals, enduring understanding, and learning objects to visualize what it looks like for students to demonstrate mastery.
