Add a Flocabulary lesson
Check for understanding through multiple choice, short answer, polls, drawing, fill in the blank.
Nearpod now partners with Flipgrid -- have students show what they know in collaborative video form!
There's a lot of great content built in Nearpod. You can always choose pre-made content and edit it yourself.
Find a lesson you like and click add to my library.
Edit the lesson and post the link to your agenda in Schoology.
Open up Google Slides, and get the Nearpod add-on.
Go to your add-ons and open up Nearpod. Build a presentation by combining your own slides, internet content interaction, formative assessments, and student collaboration.
When you're happy with your lesson, click Save & Go To Nearpod.
Find the lesson in your Lesson library. Click Live Lesson.
Either post the code or the link to the Nearpod in your agenda in Schoology or in your Zoom chat.
Tell students to have Zoom on in the background while you guide them through the lesson. Don't share your screen, just manage the Nearpod.
