Enrolling in District 127 Professional Development Opportunities on Frontline

Emailed Instructions from Tracey Landry

My Learning Plan (MLP) has an internal PD catalog called the "district catalog".  Here you will find anything open to you currently being offered in and by D127.  While the internally available activities might vary from face-to-face to online options, our first offerings are two great UbD modules that harness Schoology and Google to maximize online learning.  The district catalog can be found in your MLP as you see below:

Click on District Catalog and you will see the courses currently offered.

ou can click on the course to sign up.  Once signed up, it will appear in the  "in progress" section of your Learning Plan in MLP.

For these courses, once you enroll via MLP, you will be added to the Schoology course and will be able to complete the online course(s) at your own pace, as long as you are done before school is out.

Once done, and the required evaluation complete, the instructor (in this case Shanna) will mark you as done and you should automatically get the event moved to your "completed" section and a CPDU form added to your portfolio than you can document in ELIS.

HOW TO ACCESS THE SURVEY TO EARN CPDUS UPON COMPLETION OF COURSE

To earn the CPDU's you have to complete the assigned state-required survey.  To do so you will click "manage" next to the event in your learning plan once done with the course.  At the bottom of the "manage" page is a big blue button for the evaluation.  Click, complete, and submit the evaluation.
