He andado muchos caminos
Me han cerrado muchos caminos
He cruzado muchos caminos
También he batallado para escoger los caminos
La aventura puede ser larga o pequeña
Pero la tienes que disfrutar
Disfruta sin mirar atrás
Vive caminando hacia adelante
He caminado por la vida
Sin nadie y sin un guía
Me he encontrado a alguien
Que me guíe y que me ame
Los caminos cambian
Los amigos cambian
Los enemigos cambian
Como los caminos
Como dice un tal Omar Geles
El camino es infinito
Sin fin y sin comienzo
Preocupado en la vida
Por lo que viene por delante
Con sorpresas me he encontrado
Con días buenos y otros malos
Pero en fin la vida estoy viviendo
Porque solo es el comienzo…
The Paths of Life
I've walked many paths
They’ve closed many paths
I've crossed many paths
But also struggled to choose my paths
The adventure can be long or short
But you have to enjoy the road
Enjoy it without looking back
But live it looking forward
I've walked through life
Alone without a guide
I have found someone
That will guide and show me love
The friends change
The enemy's change
How the paths change
Just as someone named Omar Geles says
The road is endless
With no beginning or no ending
Worry in life
For what there is to come
Surprises i've encountered
With good days and others bad
But at the end of the day my life i'm living
Because it's only the beginning.
Michael Garcia: What inspired me personally to write this poem was thinking about the hard times in my life and getting over all the obstacles. My writing process came at ease because the way I can express myself is by writing a poem. And I used the literary rhyming that was my intention. The way I structured my poem was in order for example first my experience with dealing with big obstacles and the other half of the poem was how I face all my obstacles. The theme of my poem was spirituality to see your life differently. As you grow you come to realize many mysteries and thoughts throughout your whole life. In general to see your whole life differently and live with no regrets and no hesitation. Something about me is that I enjoy making poems because it comes with ease as long as the rhymes of the poems.
Osbaldo Esparza: What inspired me to write this poem were some poems I had read from other sources that previous English teachers had shown me. I would think deep about something that relates to me and can relate to other people on a deep level. I structured it where it sounds simple but it has a deeper meaning that one has to really give it thought in order to understand. I tried to explore the topic of life and the road to living life at its fullest. This resonates with me because although I have had struggles in my life I never looked back and always kept going, not letting my problems stop me from succeeding. I have never thought that I was a deep thinker but once I started writing it became natural to me b
Maria Ochoa: What inspired me to write this poem is that I wanted to express something in this something that maybe not only one person could relate to. My writing process was fluent as they found me. I used rhyming as a technique. I structured my poem by writing a life story from the beginning to the end and how it sort of ends. I am exploring the theme of life and walking through life. This is something that I've become passionate about as the words flow just as my wording does.
