Positive Feedback of the Week 👍

Email sent to Heads PA

"Dear Ms Butler and Mr Vohra

I and my family are very proud to learn that our child has been selected as one of the House Prefects.  We want to thank all the teachers for their trust in our child.  With this achievement of our child we felt like he has grown up and taking responsibilities such as this one.

We also learnt from your weekly video update as well as from your letter that it was a tough task for the teachers to select among those outstanding boys and girls.  We would also like to congratulate all other Prefects and aspirants too and hope they will do amazing stuffs.

We are confident that our child will be a great leader and role model for his peers.

Kind regards"

Burnham -On-Sea 2024

This week (Tuesday 11 June to Thursday 13 June 2024) students studying GCSE Geography were in Burnham-On-Sea to complete the field work element of their Paper 3: Geographical Applications exam.   This involved an assessment of the sea defences down on Burnham's coastline and some work in the town, assessing the extent to which the town is reliant on tourism.  Not every day was as we'd hoped in terms of weather, with students and staff having to put up with both the wet and the cold (in June!) down in North Somerset.  Despite this, the students there represented themselves and the school really well making for three work filled but really enjoyable trips.  A massive thank you to all the students who attended and made those days so enjoyable, the staff who made the days run as they should and the parents for their part in the organisation!
