Student Absence Reminders

We would like to remind you of our absence reporting procedure for P16 students. You can report an absence by completing an online form or telephoning 0117 919 8000. Please do not send emails directly to staff as these can be missed. 

Young Carers

A young carer is someone who is under 18 and helps to look after a relative with a disability, illness, mental health condition, or drug or alcohol problem. Is your child a young carer? Please encourage them to complete this form so that we can be aware of their situation and put support in place.

Insight into Bristol

Insight into Bristol is aimed at Y12 students who are Black, Asian, or come from another ethnic minority background. The programme is an opportunity for students to experience life at the UoB through academic seminars and social activities. Those who attend will spend the week living in university accommodation and will be mentored by current Bristol undergraduates. If students complete the summer school, they will be eligible for a guaranteed contextual offer or interview from Bristol. The University will cover all costs and the deadline for applying is Friday 17 March. You can find a list of the available subject streams linked and contact details here.
