We are here to provide you with support around your physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing.
The Kowloon Bay team consists of Nurse/ Counsellor Justin McLaughlin, Nurse Sue Parsons and Counsellors Tisha George and Jeni Chestnut-Tangerman.
The Pok Fu Lam team consists of Nurse/ Counsellor Justin McLaughlin (Wednesday), Counsellor Jeni Chestnut-Tangerman (Tuesday) and Nurse Kathy Carroll Lea.
What We Do
What We Do
The Wellbeing Team provides holistic, individualised care and support to the students of Kellett School. We communicate health information from the Center for Health Protection to the wider school body.
We provide nursing support, first aid, counselling, health education, first aid training, consultation to the school on wellbeing matters and consultation/ recommendations for health pathways.
Confidentiality
The counselling service is confidential, and we will not discuss anything about you outside of the Counselling and Wellbeing Team without your explicit agreement, except in exceptional circumstances, e.g if there was a serious risk of harm to yourself or others/ illegal activity or if someone else is harming you.
How can we access the Wellbeing Team services?
Students, parents and teachers can contact us directly to meet with a Nurse or Counsellor.
If students are not feeling well at school, they can let their teachers know and present to the wellbeing office.
