Community Links

Hickman Library and Museum is located at 609 N Main Ave.  Admission is free to the public. The Museum features historical memorabilia and artifacts related to the heritage of Big Lake, Texon and Reagan County.  The Museum is currently not open to the public due to renovations.

Josh Mitchell Park is located at 900 N Montana Ave.  The park was built by the City of Big Lake in memory of Reagan County Deputy Josh Mitchell.  Deputy Mitchell was killed in the line of duty on August 1, 2012.  The City of Big Lake officially dedicated the park in July, 2013.  Please visit the Josh Mitchell Park page for park hours and rules and regulations. 

Reagan Memorial Hospital  is located at 1300 N. Main Avenue.

Reagan County Independent School District is located at 1111 12th Street.

Big Lake Golf Course

Concho Valley Community Action Agency (CVCAA) is located at 36 E. Twohig Avenue, Suite B2, San Angelo, Texas.  The CVCAA is a non-profit organization that assists low income families with housing, utilities, tax preparation assistance and weatherization. The CVCAA generally visits Big Lake twice per month. Scheduled visits can be found on the City of Big Lake's Facebook page.   

Reagan County Appraisal District is located at 409 E. 2nd Street.

Reagan County Courthouse is located at 300 N. Plaza Avenue.

Concho Valley Transit is located at 510 N. Chadbourne Street, San Angelo, Texas.
