Ordinances govern the daily function of our City. The ordinances range from setting rules or "laws" pertaining to the safety and well-being of the citizens, to outlining the procedures for government operation. City of Big Lake Code of Ordinances are available on-line at ecode360 and are reviewed and updated approximately every two years. Newly approved Ordinances are listed below, pending final publication on the ecode360 publishing site.
Ordinance reviews and additions are set as a City Council Agenda Item. If you have an interest, or in-put, pertaining to a proposed Ordinance, check our calendar and the City Council agenda. You may provide your comments during Citizen Comments or be formally added to the agenda.
