Process

As I advance with my pieces, the media that I use seems to come more consistent. I feel like most of my paintings are made with the same media throughout my process. Each piece has a specific medium or media that will make it look and be understood to its best ability. I were instructed to make a portrait, I would use charcoal. Graphite, although it is very sensitive, becomes a great tool for shading and small details within a piece. If I was instructed to make a landscape piece, I would use paint to express fluidity within hills, mountains, and overall natural landscapes.

Media definitely impacts my work heavily when it comes to process in a piece which is why I am careful about what to use.

Progress

When I feel like I am done with a piece of work, there is a feeling of accomplishment and overall satisfaction about how it turned out. Although sometimes, even if I am finished with this work, I won't get this feeling. This is probably because I am not confident with how it turned out in the end.
