When does process shift to progress?

Can progress exist without process?

Process gives way to progress—but not all process is progress. Or is it? Perhaps even if an aspect of a work of art is not moving the piece forward, it is still progress of some kind. There are not any concrete answers; it is so individualized without one overarching phrase or definition. In “Process/Progress” we explore the meaning behind these words in our own processes and progresses and how they shape and develop our own artistic practices.
