Alameda County has everything to offer. From the many parks and museums of Oakland, the counter-cultural hub that is Berkeley, and the historic aircraft carrier of Alameda to the Mediterranean climate, windmills, and the rolling hills of Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore. With a population of over one million people residing in fifteen cities and towns, there's always something special in each city and always something to do in the 7th-most populous county of California.
Aside from being the county seat of Alameda County, the city of Oakland has many things to offer, from the farmers market in Chinatown to the Oaktoberfest in the Dimond District. You can catch a movie at the Paramount Theatre in Uptown, or go shopping in Montclair. Explore the unique exhibits at the Oakland Museum of California, and educate yourself on Black history at the African American Museum & Library.
