New Start Tattoo Removal is a program funded by the Kaiser Permanente Foundation that provides access to tattoo-removal treatments to youth and young adults with visible gang, drug-related and other undesirable tattoos in the Eden and tri-cities geographical areas. For ages 13-25.

ELIGIBILITY

• Must be a resident of Alameda County

• Must be between the ages of 13 and 25 years old.

• Must be willing to make positive lifestyle changes, avoid gang, criminal or drug behaviors

• Must be enrolled in school/working towards a GED, in a job training program, or have a stable job

• Must be willing to meet with a sponsor on a monthly basis

• Must contribute a minimum of 50 hours of community service
