Provides in-home, low cost broadband Internet service for families that have a child in grades K-12 who are currently enrolled in the Free or Reduced Lunch Program, or families that qualify for housing assistance, Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, and others. The program offers Internet service for $9.95 per month (plus tax), the option to buy a computer for under $150 (plus tax), free access to online, in print and classroom Internet training, no activation fees or equipment rental fees, guarantee of no price increase so long as an eligible child is enrolled in the free lunch program during their K-12 attendance and no credit check requirement. Provides assistance to afford internet service. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price. Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household. After December 31, 2021, modifications to the existing EBB program will take effect.

Project 10Million’s Direct to Parent/Guardian program provides internet access to eligible families that have a student enrolled in the National School Lunch program. Approved families receive 100GB of mobile data per year for 5 years and a FREE mobile hotspot, plus the opportunity to purchase additional Wi-Fi devices at a low cost.

PCs For People provides a Low-Cost Internet Plan for low-income individuals needing internet connectivity in their households. A modem with unlimited 4G LTE internet service is provided to connect those using this program to the internet. A one time purchase of a modem for $80 is required. Subscriptions are $15.00 per month and can be purchased in 1, 3, 6 and 12 month increments. Shipping of the device free, and there is no credit check or hidden costs.
ELIGIBILITY: Eligible households/individuals must: (1) have an income at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines, and/or (2) be currently enrolled in an income-based government assistance program.

The Connect2Compete program opens a world of opportunity for families that have a K-12 student and receive government assistance by providing reduced cost internet to eligible families. There are no deposits or annual contracts and installation and modem rental is included. This program costs $9.95 per month.
ELIGIBILITY: Must have at least one student in grades K-12 living in the household; Must be participating in one of these government-assistance programs: National School Lunch Program, Head Start, SNAP, WIC, LIHEAP, and/or TANF; who receive Tenant-Based Vouchers, Project-Based Vouchers or Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA); and/or Public Housing.
Access Wireless offers mobile phone service to eligible residents as part of the government-funded Lifeline Assistance program. Lifeline is intended to help individuals experiencing financial hardship stay connected to family members, schools and child care providers, as well as be reachable to potential employers and have a means of communicating in case of an emergency. For states in the National Verifier, you must first qualify for the Lifeline program through the National Verifier by completing the National Verifier application. After you have successfully qualified through the National Verifier and received your Application ID, then you may complete the Access Wireless application to finish your enrollment.

Assurance Wireless provides a free wireless phone plan to households who qualify based on income or enrollment in certain government benefit programs. Lifeline is a government benefit program supported by the federal Universal Service Fund.

LIFELINE MOBILE PHONE PROGRAM: The Lifeline Assistance program is available for only one wireless or wireline account per household.
