The California Department of Rehabilitation assists individuals with disabilities obtain and retain employment and maximize their ability to live independently in their communities by providing vocational rehabilitation services to eligible individuals and ADA technical assistance. The California Department of Rehabilitation also provides training and funding to local independent living centers, which offer information and referral services to assist individuals with disabilities live active, independent lives.

Must have a physical, mental, or emotional disability that significantly interferes with the ability to acquire or hold employment.
Must be a U.S. citizen, an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized by the Immigration & Naturalization Act to work in the U.S.
