Handprint Rainbow

Kinders worked collaboratively to create an oversized rainbow of handprints. 

Mosaic Rainbows

Mosaic made of tiny paper kept these kiddos busy for some time. It's a great assessment in their fine motor ability as well. 

Lascaux Cave Drawings

Students learned about the world's oldest drawings and then created their own under the art tables by fake candle light. 

First Grade

Pete the Cat

Students combined shapes to create the famous Pete the Cat. 

McCool Pattern Fish

Students used pattern and crazy scissors to make the coolest fish around. 

Second Grade

Kandinsky Circles

Students created abstract art with complementary background colors. 

Monet's Boats

Students created a space with foreground, middle ground and background in this impressionist-inspired scene. 

Third Grade

LEGO self-portraits

Students created a LEGO version of themselves! 

Action Jackson Painting

Students learned about Jackson Pollock and his energetic paintings. 

Pop Art Clay Cupcakes

Students created a clay version of people's favorite treat. 

Fourth Grade

Picasso Blue Guitars

Students learned about Picasso's Cubism and Blue period, then created their own abstract guitar. 

The Great Wave

Students learned about Hokusi and his Japanese Wood Cut Prints, then created a painting inspired by this art.

Banyan Trees

Students took their time with these beautiful, oil pastel trees.

Keep Calm Poster Parody

Students learned about the infamous WWII poster that wasn't found until 40 years after the war. They created their own version and even took 2 DSPA's connected to this project!
