Kindergarten and 2nd grades at Recluse created 3D art on a 2D surface by drawing a balloon and then adding paper to blow up the balloon.

Kindergarten heard the book "Ed's Egg" and we learned about hatching eggs and the shy ones that still need their mamas. They got to FINALLY scribble and create a positive space in their art.

First grade used recycled materials to create a monster from a paper towel tube by gluing with felt and integrating pattern to their form.

Third, forth and fifth grades at Recluse created Picasso inspired faces using cardboard and oil pastels by integrating bizarre facial features and random, colorful patterns.

Third grades created groovy suns by blending colored pencils and painting their background with cool watercolor paints.

Fourth grade created a web with alternating color wheels not only displaying color order but showing complementary colors. These were painted with watercolor paints.
