An image can be added to a question in a Skyward online assignment as part of the question or as an answer. The image should be saved as a file onto the computer and then Inserted or added as an attachment.
The image should be saved to the computer as a jpg or png file.
The Snipping Tool can be used to capture and save an image.
In the example on the right, Question 1 of 2 uses an Inserted image.
Question 2 of 2 uses the image as an image attachment.
This is the view of what the student would see when viewing the online assignment.
Click to View Style Toolbar.
Click the Image icon.
Click New Image | Choose File, browse to saved image | Upload Image.
Change the Alignment to Left.
Type a different width or height so image fits on the screen.
Note: Width of 200 is shown in the example above. A width around 400 is recommended.
Click OK.
Double click the image to bring up the Image Properties box if adjustments are need.
Next to the question box, click the Attach(0) button.
Click Choose File, browse to the file | Upload.
Image will be shown under Attachment Maintenance.
Click the Save button.
The Attach button should show (1) indicating one image is attached.
No image is shown as a preview.
