Request Grade Changes
Changes cannot be made to the gradebook for terms that have been closed. Teachers can request changes be made to the gradebook by following the procedure below. This is also the procedure to follow to clear incomplete grades.
From the Gradebook screen, hover over Grade Posting Status and click on the desired Term under Previous Grading Periods.
Click once to highlight the section where the grade(s) need to be adjusted.
Click the Request Grade Changes button.
Read the message at the top. Skyward will open a two hour window to change assignment scores or to make a grade adjustment.
Enter the reason for requesting the grade change. This message will be shown to the administrator and should explain why the posted grade is being changed.
Click Yes to proceed.
Skyward will open the section for grade changes for a two hour window.
Make the adjustments to assignment grades or the term grade for the open section.
When adjustments are done, click the Back button.
Note: Changes can only be made to the section that was opened. To make adjustments to other classes, start with Step #2 and highlight a different section.
If needed, click once to highlight the section where the grades were adjusted.
Click the Complete Grade Changes button.
Read the message and click Yes to proceed.
The administrator will review the grade change and approve any change(s) to the report card grade.
