Show NY Registered Students

As soon as students are registered for next year, they are listed in Skyward. In order to see these students in Skyward, you must change your Range settings.

1) From the Student Profile screen, click the Ranges link.

2) From the Ranges screen make the following changes.

1. Set the Grade/Grad Yr low and high fields to include the NY grade levels.

Note: Setting P2 to the Low and 05 to the High, as shown, will include all students registered for the next year.

2. Set the Current Year Status to Both.

3. Set the Next Year Status to Both.

4. Click Save.

3) Your student browse should now show all students registered for next year.

If you wish to view only one particular grade, you can set the Grade/Grad Yr low and high fields using the cart below. Before the Next Year Rollover (around July 1), use the left-most column for the range. During the school year, use the student's current year grade.

For example: To view only Kindergarten students for next year, set the low and high Grade/Grad Yr fields each to PK.

Note: You can go back to the Ranges link (step #1) and reset the Grade/Grad Yr range to KG for the low and 05 for the high with Current Year Status to Active. This will show active students in the current year.
