Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa, Happy Everything...
Firstly, I want to wish you all a lovely break as we come to the end of 2017. Whatever you do during the two weeks, I hope you enjoy some time with your families and have some time to relax. We've has a wonderful first term this year with so many things to celebrate and I hope your child(ren) have enjoyed it too! December is the month of the year where children learn about happiness as part of the core values of the Learn Together Curriculum and it's great to see all the happy faces every morning when we join together in school. Every December we have a winter concert and, as with every year, it is a beautiful celebration of everything that the children have learned. The children sang songs about winter, Christmas, Chanuakkah, and even bears this year! It's important that every child is included in our performances no matter what their background, culture, ability or creed, and it was wonderful to see so many families celebrating together in whatever way they do at this time of year.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all in 2018. There will be loads to look forward to including our Zumba classes for families so watch this space! Until 2018, keep happy, safe and learning.
Things you need to know
Post of Responsibility
The school is delighted to announce that Clare Keohane and Adrian Coffey have been appointed to management roles in the school. The structure of management in the school is now as follows: Principal: Simon Lewis, Deputy Principal: Emer Byrden, Assistant Principal 1: Clare Keohane, Assistant Principal 2: Eimear Cody Morrissey and Adrian Coffey. Currently, Emer and Eimear are on leave from their posts so two teachers will act up in their place. These posts allow the school to spread the structure of management within the school with different posts managing specific areas. A full breakdown of these will be available on the school website in early 2018.

Attendance and Lateness
Please ensure that your child is in school on time. The school opens at 8:30am for breakfast club and 8:35am for morning supervision. Classes start at 8:50am and all children must be in school by then. There are a number of children coming to school after 9am and classes are well underway by then.
