June Newsletter
Our end of year newsletter is generally a bit of a wrap up for the school year. While we've already shared the school calendar since April and the class allocations since May, it's good to have everything in one place. Before we do all that, I want to take the opportunity to thank you for all your support this year. It's been another fantastic year and I hope you and your child(ren) have enjoyed it as much as we have. We have said goodbye to another 6th class and we wish them well in secondary school. Towards the end of this year we welcomed a couple of new faces to the school. Following interviews, we are happy to confirm that we welcome on a contract basis: Alaisia Kelly and Geraldine McLoughlin to the team. We are also happy to welcome Breda Doyle and Janet Kenny on job sharing arrangements.
News
Summer Holidays
The school office closes on Friday 28th June for the summer. Play Together will run summer camps throughout July and August. The July Programme will run for children in our Integrated Classes in July. If you need to contact Simon, he will be available by appointment in July. The school office reopens on August 21st 2019 and children begin school for a half day on August 28th.
School Reports
School reports were sent out to all families on 24th June. If you didn't receive yours, be sure you have downloaded the Aladdin App or have accessed the Aladdin portal on any browser.
Class Allocations
Class Allocations are confirmed for 2019-20 pending any changes to personnel over the summer. Teachers will be as follows: Junior Infants: Gillian and Cliona, Senior Infants: Sive (Margaret's current class) and Sinéad (Gillian's current class), 1st Class: Teresa (Sinéad/Angela's current class) and Laura (Gary's current class), 2nd Class: Clare (Teresa's current class) and Emily (Laura's current class), 3rd Class: Margaret, 3rd/4th Class: Ciara, 4th Class: Sharon, 5th Class: Tricia, 6th Class: Susie, Integrated Classes: John and Gary. Support Staff: Emer, Adrian, Vicky/Angela, Mark/Edel, Caroline/Eimear, Aisling, Susanne, Erin, Róisín.
