LEGO SERVO INFORMATION
How to Glue Gears to Servos
You will need to ask one of the engineering teachers for the push pin, superglue and a plastic grocery bag. If they don’t have a grocery bag, the bags from the garbage can will work as a substitute, but they won't stretch as much as a grocery bag.
MAKE SURE YOU RETURN ALL MATERIALS
Make sure you know what side of the gear you will fit on the Servo (usually one side is very tight and the other is just snug) Use the side that is snug
Take a piece of a very thin plastic bag and poke a small whole in it about 1-2 mm with a push pin
Make sure you put the Servo securing panel on the Servo before doing the next steps
Put the piece of plastic over the Servos and stretch the whole over the axle
Glue the inside of the gear and put it on the axle
It should be dry in 10 minutes
Pull the plastic bag piece off from under the gear as much as you can
The gear may stick a little to the servo so you might need to twist the gear to unstick it and then it will work

Servo Mounts
The Servo Mounts were just being put to use this year (2021) so if you have any recommendations on how they could be improved email Matthew Litchy : mlitchy24@bsmschool.org
Please follow these steps once you have your 2 servo mounts
If there are supports on your Servo mount, be sure to take all of it off. Don’t forget to clear out the hole where your bolt will go in.
If all the supports are gone make sure the Servo fits in from both sides.
Once you decide what side you want the Servo in, put the bolt through the Servo and the mount, then secure it with the nut. If you can't get a good grip on the nut, go get needle nose pliers from the back room.
