Do NOT save your files to the Desktop or Documents folders locally.
Save your files to the Engineering Network drive (:L) so they can be accessed from any PC or laptop in engineering, as well as at home via the Google Drive Access. Sometimes the PC you were using will be occupied by other students or down for repairs; having your files on the network drive will allow you to always have access to them and work on your projects.
Go ahead and create a folder for you or your group in the (:L) drive.
If you do not see the (:L) drive in file explorer, save your work locally, restart the PC, let it boot up completely and do not close any terminal windows that pop up (this is the (:L) Drive connection running. Once online, save the files to the (:L) Drive and remove them from the local PC storage.
