Welcome to Further Maths

Hi Further Mathematicians!

We hope you are all well.

There are no additional resources you need to prepare for Further Maths. You should ensure that you are working through the GCSE to A-Level resources - You need to make sure you are the best of the best when it comes to GCSE mathematics in order to ensure you are successful on the course.

In addition to the GCSE work, I would encourage you to have a look at the 'Fun new maths' material. This will give you an opportunity to learn something new that's a little different. Further Maths has lots and lots of new content that you won't have encountered before so this is an excellent opportunity to start expanding your knowledge base.

Summer Assignment

Work that is expected will be completed and will form part of the first few weeks of teaching.

Find an area of maths that you haven’t studied as part of GCSE Maths or Additional/Further Maths, which interests you and read around this subject. You may wish to use podcasts, journals, articles or books.

Create an A4 poster to summarise this information (to be emailed to swilkinson@bohunt.hants.sch.uk) and prepare a 3 minute presentation to deliver to the class in the first week of term.
