Welcome to A Level Business! We’re really looking forward to meeting you in September, you’ve made a great choice!
Business is all around you and so your ‘homework’ over the summer is to open your eyes a little more to what is going on; question the adverts you see every day, analyse why companies are pricing their products in that particular way, think about the way they are being portrayed in the media and how they might be controlling this image, ponder the ethical and environmental decisions that brands are facing. In order to excel at A Level you must be far more analytical, far more critical even, of what you see / read / watch when it comes to organisations and their founders. I have collated some extra reading which you might want to dip into over the summer including biographies of entrepreneurs, stories of how companies started, revision guides (for those who really want to get ahead!), YouTube teachers as well as some fun YouTube short documentaries about your favourite brands that you might find interesting. So enjoy your summer and come along in September ready to learn even more about the business world!

Revision Guide
I know some of you are likely to be keen to start revising topics covered at GCSE or want to get a bit of head start on some of the A Level theory.
