Senior Infants

Happy Spring everyone! We have been very busy this month in Senior Infants. Miss Arnold showed us how to make St. Bridget’s Crosses on St. Bridget’s Day. For Aistear this month we were learing all about SPACE. We loved acting as astronauts and aliens! In Irish we were learning all about our classroom and the names of things we use everyday. We made lots of Valentines Cards 💓💓💓 We are doing dance with Patsy! After midterm we started our reading groups and we love our new books. We can’t wait for Pancake Tuesday!

MARCH 2019

Hello everyone. We had lots of fun during March! We dressed up as our favourite characters for World Book Day. Miss Arnold even dressed up as a crayon from "The Day the Crayons Quit". We made pancakes for Pancake Tuesday - they were so yummy. For Maths this month we were learning about Money and we got to practice in our classroom shop. Patsy is doing lots of fun dances with us.

April 2019

We can’t believe it’s the Easter holidays already! We had lots of fun making Easter bunnies for Art. We went on an Easter Egg Hunt all around the school and had loads of fun. When we got back to our classroom we had lots of yummy treats! Patsy is teaching us all about athletics this month. Happy Easter everyone!

May 2019

This month we have been learning all about going to a restaurant for Aistear. We get to work in the kitchen, take the orders and be the customers. It is loads of fun! Liam is back with us on Fridays and is teaching us football skills. 4 children from Senior Infants went to Cork City Sports in CIT. We are very proud of them. At the end of the month we held our own class election to pick a class captain. Tony Tiger and Ali Alligator were the 2 candidates. We even made our own stickers and election posters!
