Google Meet now has an option to create a Jamboard
When in a Meet, Click the 3 verticle dots, in the bottom right corner, then click Whiteboard, Open a Jam.
Click Share in the top right
Find the student in the list and change the permission to view, to remove editing rights.
There is no audit log of who made which edits. We cannot backtrack defaced whiteboards.
Students can revisit the Jamboard when the session is over as it behaves just a like a shared document in google drive.
Therefor, when the meet/jamboard is done with at the end of a session, please save a copy as pdf if you need to revisit. Or remove all the edit permissions from students.
Students are able to create their own Jamboards and share amongst themselves, we cannot disable this.
