Here are the key changes:
We will be changing our email address from atlantic.academy to atlanticacademy.uk. This is to match the rest of the schools in the trust, i.e. bidefordcollege.uk, launcestoncollege.uk
Usernames for staff are changing to match the rest of the trust. The staff username syntax is first letter of first name followed by surname, i.e. John Smith is jsmith
Usernames for students are also changing to match the rest of the trust. The student username syntax is the two digit intake year, followed by the first letter of the first name, followed by the surname, i.e. Joe bloggs in year 8 starting in Sep 2021 is 21JBloggs
We are moving all trust schools under the same Google tenant, making it much easier to work collaboratively with colleagues across the trust
We asked staff to reset their computer passwords, which will have set their Google password. If you have not done this, please call IT on 01237 429510 so that we can reset your password for you

These changes do not affect the use of any other Microsoft app, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
It is important that you understand the differences between the accounts that you currently have during this transition stage.
It is also important that you know which data we have been able to migrate (move over to your new account) on your behalf, and which data was not possible to migrate.
