This page covers which data will be migrated on your behalf, and which data you will need to move across yourself

When looking at each Google system, our first choice is to automatically move the data across on your behalf. If Google does not have the functionality to allow this, we have looked at third party options. If there are no third party options available, we have created a user guide to allow users to move content across themselves if they wish.

Below is a list of the Google systems we use and the status of whether we've been able to migrate the data across or not.

1. Data Migrated Automatically

The following systems have been automatically moved across to the new system:

• Emails

• Calendar

• My Drive files

• Shared Drives

2. Data Not Possible to Migrate

The following systems are not possible to move across to the new system:

• Google Classroom

• Google Keep

• Bookmarks

• Passwords

• Google Forms & Responses

• Drive files shared with you

  • Drive files that have been shared with you previously will have to be re-shared by the original person that shared the files.

• Calendars shared with you

  • Calendars shared with you will need to be re-shared by the original person. You'll still have access to your old calendar for the time being, so you'll be able to contact these people and ask them to re-share with your new account.
