Dear Families,
Thank you for a beautiful year with your children! Our final week brought robotics racing, the Grade 5 Step Up ceremony, and a closing assembly full of highlights — student presenters speaking in Spanish about courage and a special honoring a student's great great grandfather, a send-off for our departing students and families, and every child moving up to their next grade.
It has been a joy and a privilege to be their principal this year. They have grown and learned in all the ways that matter, academically socially, and in character.
Have a wonderful summer and we look forward to welcoming many of you back in September! For those who are moving on from ASM, we will miss you and are wishing you all the best in your next adventures.
With gratitude,
Ms. Dani
Summer bridging Ideas: Summer is a gift — for rest, exploration, and the kind of learning that happens outside a classroom. The ideas in this document are meant to be low-pressure and flexible. Choose what fits your family and your summer. Even small, consistent habits — 20 minutes of reading a day, a conversation about math at the dinner table, a journal entry once a week — make a real difference.
What else is Coming Up?
New classes - We are working to finalize class placements for next school year. We often have changes in enrollment over the course of the summer, so you can expect to receive information about class placements in your classroom welcome letter on August 28th by 1:00pm.
Summer is a great time for reading! Check out our summer reading challenge called, "Catch You Reading!" We hope you'll join us!
Stay Fit this Summer
For his CAS project, Santi in grade 5 made a workout routine. If you are looking for a new summer workout, try this one out!
