Dear families,
It was a short but meaningful week in the Lower School, with the highlight being our winter choir concert. Watching our students sing alongside their families at the end was so touching. A huge congratulations to our singers, our student conductors, and of course to Mr. Rory and Mr. Jonathan for their fantastic coordination of the entire experience. For those interested in joining the choir in January, please stay tuned for more information coming soon from our music teachers!
I wanted to share Edutopia's 10 Most Significant Education Studies of 2025 with you. It's affirming to see current research validating so many of the educational approaches that we are committed to at ASM. From the benefits of early handwriting instruction to the value of play and productive struggle in learning, the critical importance of teacher-student relationships, and recognition that teaching is one of the world's most complex professions --these findings reinforce why we do what we do in service of your children's growth and learning.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Ms. Dani
