Dear families,
Our Colloquium on Wednesday was a huge success—a dynamic exchange of ideas and practices around innovation, research, teaching, and student well-being. We are so proud of our Lower School teachers who shared their expertise, and one thing we’ve heard clearly from parents is that they want more opportunities like this to learn directly from our educators. The day also featured a student-led assembly from Grade 5, full of energy and creativity, highlighting themes of gratitude, the water cycle, the Lancer Way, and various holiday traditions from around the world—with a special surprise appearance from our mascot, Roci! It was a wonderful reminder of the curiosity, learning, and community spirit that make our school so special.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Ms. Dani

SMARTICK
For families that are interested in learning more about Smartick, see this presentation. Remember, families can sign up their students with Smartick by filling out this form. Accounts will be created this week and next week. Please email hola@smartick.com with any questions. It is important that students do at least 4 sessions a week for best results.
LOST & FOUND
All Lost and Found items will be donated before December 1st. If a student is looking for something, please have them check the Lost and Found before then. Starting December 1st we will be changing how the Lost & Found functions. Things that are found in the same month, will be placed together in the Lost & Found. They will remain in the Lost & Found for the following month. After they have been in the Lost & Found for at least 1 month, the items will be donated.
Additionally the Lost & Found will be open from 8:45 am - 9:10 am and 3:45pm - 4:00 pm. At these times, Marga will be there to help students find items. Otherwise the Lost & Found will be locked. If a student needs to check the Lost & Found outside of these time slots, they will need to have a staff member with them, to ensure they do not rearrange lost items.
WARM CLOTHES
As the weather starts to change to cooler temperatures, please remember to send your children to school with warm clothing. It can be quite cold for students in the mornings before school starts. Also send students with appropriate clothing in case of rain, especially at this time of year.
