Dear families,
I can't believe it's December! The students returned from Thanksgiving break energized and ready to learn, bringing wonderful enthusiasm into our classrooms, gym, and playgrounds.
This week, we were fortunate to have renowned literacy and AI expert Mary Ehrenworth on campus working with our teachers from K-12th grade. Mary led professional development sessions focused on AI in education, as well as practical strategies for vocabulary development, effective feedback, partner work, and the use of text sets. Our teachers are excited to bring these fresh insights into their practice.
We know there are bugs making their rounds through our community, and some students have been absent as a result. Please take good care of yourselves and each other. We we look forward to finishing 2025 strong together!

AMIS Honor Choir Recordings
This last week our music teachers, Jonathan and Rory, were in Zagreb, Croatia at the American International School of Zagreb with 8 students from ASM in 4th and 5th grade. Our 8 students combined with 10 other schools to create a massive choir from over 3 continents! Below is a note from our music teachers, Mr. Jonathan and Mr. Rory.
One word was WOW! These kids were able to have the dedication and drive to audition for the choir, learn the music, come to the practices, and be attentive in the rehearsals. The level of focus was unmatched as they rose above the expectations.
We wanted to share this very professional concert experience with you all because we are so absolutely proud of these kids.
Please find the video at this link under the same heading; enjoy and celebrate these kids if you see them!
