What to look for: Underhand Rolling

  1. Preferred hand swings down and back, while the chest faces the target.

  2. Stride forward with your foot opposite the preferred hand toward the target.

  3. Bend knees to lower body.

  4. Release the ball close to the floor so the ball does not bounce more than 4 inches high.

Activities/Games for Practice:

  • Bocce

  • Bowling

  • Set up empty bottles/cans and roll a balled up sock/small ball at them to see how many you can knock over

  • Make a small arch or target on the bottom of the wall, roll a ball to see if you can hit it, if too easy scoot back.
