The Alpine School District Adapted Physical Education Department supports ATEC’s mission, vision and values to have students access and navigate their individual lives by providing a network of research-based fitness supports that directly relate to community involvement. This practice helps ensure seemless transitons from the last day of school to the first day of their adult lives. The A.P.E. department recognizes the benefits of job-related fitness for all students, not just those that qualify for specialized instruction. When used regularly, the following activities promote desired outcomes by increasing stamina and endurance throughout the week in addition to scheduled A.P.E. instruction. Please contact your school’s A.P.E. teacher for more information
